Which Payment Methods Do You Accept?

Currently we accept: Online payments via our website. Cheques, Cash, along with E-transfer. Will be accepting all debit and credit transactions in the near future.

How Often Should Our Fireplace Be Inspected and Cleaned?

To remain in compliance with the National Fire Code of Canada 2.6.1.4. Chimneys, Flues and Flue Pipes. 

1)  Every chimney, flue and flue pipe shall be inspected to identify any dangerous condition
      a)  at intervals not greater than 12 months,
      b)  at the time of addition of any appliance, and
      c)  after any chimney fire.
2)  Chimneys, flues and flue pipes shall be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them free from dangerous             1        accumulations of combustible deposits.
3)  A chimney, flue, or flue pipe shall be replaced or repaired to eliminate
      a)  any structural deficiency or decay, and
      b)  all abandoned or unused openings that are not effectively sealed in a manner that would prevent the passage         of fire or smoke.

In short, you should be having your wood burning appliance inspected and cleaned annually.

Do You Charge By the Hour?

No. Pricing is per job. If a job is larger than expected when originally described we may have to book an additional date with an allotted amount of time to complete your request.

Do you do W.E.T.T. Inspections?

Yes we provide all levels of W.E.T.T. inspections by our certified inspectors. Please contact us regarding your specific needs to provide you with more details about our levels and find the best suitable inspection level.
